MASTER

The master's program in architecture at the University of Wuppertal opens up the possibility to deepen the subject-specific knowledge already acquired during the previous studies individually, according to one's own abilities and advanced goals. The program is designed to develop personalities who are distinguished by acquired expert knowledge and by interdisciplinary, cooperative as well as creative thinking and acting in the field of architecture.

The master's program in architecture at the University of Wuppertal is not a mass event. In each focus studio, six to ten students work in direct and permanent contact with the professors and their staff.

In the elective course Real Estate Economics and Project Development, students acquire important competencies both for the economically conscious structuring of architects' work and for participation in the relevant fields of action of project development and project management through an in-depth examination of the real estate aspects of planning and construction.

In the STUDIO Real Estate Management and Project Development, innovative concepts from construction economics and project management are formulated within the Master's group and developed by the students. Here, the in-depth scientific examination of the fields of action of project development, project management and facility management builds on the competencies already acquired as architects and develops these further in the direction of an expanding range of tasks.
